In 2007, Frenger® supplied the world's largest Actice Multi-Service Chilled Beam (MSCB's) project to London's 55 Baker Street.

Frenger's order value was £7.6 million (GBP) for the supply of 4,500 Active MSCB units in excess of 11km installed inside of the building.

Reusing the original building helped to significantly reduce the environmental impact of the project, specifically in waste and new construction materials, which went on to contribute to the project achieving a BREEAM rating of 'excellent'.

The projects well-regarded success proves that 21st century design can be applied just as well to exisitng buidings as it can to new buildings, with the myth that Chilled Beams not being flexible disproved on the project demonstrated with pre-planned MSCB joining infill locations which allowed for the future cellurisation of the office space on 3m and 1.5m grid arrangement.

Frenger's Multi-Service Chilled Beam units are 100% prefabricated and tested off-site in a controlled environment, offering a 'plug and play' solution that can provide water driven cooling, heating, lighting, fresh air, and many other building services.
