Frenger Supplies Radiant Heating to Liverpool's Brand New AXA Training Facility

Frenger are proud to have recently supplied Liverpool FC's brand-new AXA Training Facility in Kirby with their range of energy efficient EcoStrip XP & Modula Radiant Heating Panels.

The new 9,200sqm state-of-the-art training centre creates an impressive combined first team and U23s facility, each of which has its own identity. It boasts a full range of indoor facilities fit for Premier League champions including two gyms, a full-size sports hall, swimming pool, hydrotherapy complex, specialist sports rehabilitation suites as well as three full-size football pitches, goalkeeping, and warm-up areas. On top of all this, it also contains multiple dedicated TV studios, press conference facilities, and office accommodation.

Frenger have now supplied their Radiant Heating Panels, delivering a comfortable and energy efficient heating solution, to more than just one Premier League Champions Football Club.

EcoStrip XP

EcoStrip XP provides a winning solution for heating larger building areas such as indoor sports facilities, making it the perfect choice for Liverpool’s AXA building.

EcoStrip XP is suitable for both high and low installation. The panel does not contain any fans or moving parts, therefore the need for ongoing maintenance is minimal, which means the EcoStrip XP panel can be installed in areas that are difficult to access.

As the panels provide heat mainly via radiant heating, there is minimal air movement which increases Thermal Comfort and reduces the noise levels, benefitting the Liverpool players and other building occupants.

Modula

Frenger's Modula range of Radiant Heating Panels provide comfortable, affordable, energy efficient heating throughout a number of areas within a building environment.

Each panel is constructed from smooth-faced Zintec steel, extruded aluminium heat exchanger pipe seats and 15mm OD copper coils that are produced in-house on Frenger's state of the art full CNC Serpentine Bend Machine from thousand-meter drums of copper to make the heating coils without any joints whatsoever and to safe guard against risks of leakage. Frenger can provide tube centres as close as 70mm. Panels are insulated with high density (45 kg/m3) class 'O' foil 'wrapped' mineral wool insulation.

The technology employed in the construction of all Frenger's radiant heating panels result in very high heating capacity, all of which are designed, developed, and tested in Frenger's in house Climatic Test Laboratories and are also Independently Tested and Certified to EN13047.
