Active Multiservice
Frenger® has successfully delivered an Active Multi-Service Chilled Beam solution for the significant refurbishment project of Cambridge Central Library. The works to the Library located in the centre of historic Cambridge involved the design, manufacturing and supply of over 300 Active Multi-Service Chilled Beams.
The MSCBs are designed to provide not only cooling and heating but also illumination to the open floor spaces as well as incorporating smoke detection and PIR controls.
The project needed to ensure adequate cooling and lighting levels whilst also maintaining the overall aesthetic of this modern facility.
